I think everyone is entitled to an occasional dry spell...it will pass. Sometimes you have to pause and experience life for a bit to regain inspiration. I don't have much credibility to espouse any sort of wisdoms of course, but I'm pretty sure that's actually true.

Since you're showing in NJ, I'm going to try to check it out, depending on where/when.

Fighting similar issues. Mine exist because my mind is so concentrated on school and my accounting degree that it is hard to think about my art & music. Which I HATE!!!!! 6 semesters left!!!!

too unmotivated to go as far as you have. haven't had a show ever. don't draw, don't paint. whatever happens you've done something. remember that (not to sound too mommish).

Ah don't sweat it darling. It'll come back to you. You know what I think you need? A motivational injection to the brain. How about shooting dolls, burning things and smashing stuff with hammers while rocking out to Skinny Puppy or Hocico?

Oh yeah....we did all that already. You're doing fine. Don't worry about it so much. I say you get your ass to Philly when you have a chance and lets isolate ourselves from the world and have day long painting jam sessions again! That's the proper cure!

it,s called "artist hole" and I suffer with it a lot. but believe me it passes, so dont let your head hang to low, better days are coming ( sorry...dont know when lol)
you,ll look back sometime at this period and think " well....maybe I needed that "hole" because I came thro it , and now know that I can deal with it when it happens to come around again.
And believe me IT will.!!!!!!!!
